The latest project from Sydney composer Edwin Montgomery is a live re-scoring of Werner Herzog’s surreal 1969 film ‘Fata Morgana’, a “science-fiction elegy of demented post-colonialism”. Stu Buchanan talks to Edwin about the project and his work to date, and Edwin performs the piece ‘Waterfalls / Flying’ live in the studio.
